Inspired by environmentalist Sunderlal Bahuguna,
Rakesh Jaiswal has taken on himself the near impossible task of cleansing the pious Ganga

with Rakesh Jaiswals birthday. ECO Friends became the first NGO of the fourth or so polluted metropolis of India. A feat Rakesh Jaiswal had never mean to achieve but did so in the process. Rakesh Jaiswals ECO Friends mild the deteriorating condition of Kanpur and jolted people out of their slumber. Rakesh Jaiswals stress in Botany and Political Science proved ready to hand(predicate) in developing an insight into the prevailing situation.

Today, ECO Friends slogan-Think atomic number 19, Talk Green and Act Green- has reached every household.
